You’ve probably heard of “Christ mind” somewhere. At some point, you might have been curious about this phrase. Today I will just be covering the basics. As we continue on our walk together, more will be explained.
- In order to adopt the mind of Christ, you must first accept him into your life. When the word is not understood or disregarded, it’s because you and I are not open to receive. Jesus spoke in parables so it would be a mystery to those unwilling to listen. [Matthew 13:13].
- The Gospels teach how to walk in the consciousness of Jesus. Each book has different writing styles. My personal favorite is the book of Matthew. I enjoy studying the parables, reflecting, and then looking at the commentary of my study bible. No book of the Gospel is the same. Find one suitable for your needs.
- Joining a community of Christ believers provides support. Who we surround ourselves with the most determines our future. Being with people who have similar beliefs and interest produces a strong foundation.
- God gave his son to this world so that we would have eternal life. This starts when we accept Jesus, not after our death. In order to have a life full of abundance, prosperity, peace, etc. accepting a Christ mind and heart will allow us all to live a fruitful life.
Following these steps provides awareness to the mind of Jesus. Compassion and love for others give us all the option to not hold on to the burden of unforgiveness. A mind of Christ also offers wisdom on serving those in need. The more we are able to represent the son of God’s ways, the more others will be drawn to have a relationship. I pray these tips supply you insight on how to start or continue on your journey.

9 But as it is written: What no eye has seen and no ear has heard, and what has never come into a man’s heart, is what God has prepared for those who love Him.

Thank you for allowing all the blessings to overflow in my life. I am filled with joy knowing that I am loved and given grace.
Please let your holy spirit reign in this world. Allow your power to take over the hearts of those who want to know more about you. Increase their harvest so they may reap great benefits. Give us all peace knowing that everything will be ok. Protect us from anything that is not of you.

Pastors say this bible scripture all the time. Do we have to be mean to everyone to protect ourselves? Do we have to be distant and not let anyone see us for who we really are?
There is so much hate in the world. Bitterness and cruelty cause some to act as a raging animal. If we don’t guard our heart and stand up for ourselves with confidence, we will become like this corrupt world.
I had to learn how to not use my knowledge as a way to be another evil person. Guarding your heart means to simply take a step back so you can have compassion for others instead of hate.
People will aggravate you. Things will not go your way. Instead of taking your pain to be a victim, fight back with the goodness of the Lord.
Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life. Proverbs 4:23

Before you go thinking that Christianity was my only religion attempt – think again. I was an agnostic, new age, and back to Christianity. “Why did you choose Christianity after all of these things?” In case you’re wondering – I have an answer.
As I got older, I started developing a lot of wisdom. Every piece information I learned has a bible scripture to support my ideas. I found it true that there is nothing new under the sun. Scriptures back up my logic and morals. If I read a bible verse and use context clues and abstract thinking – it always adds up.
Resources is another reason why I went back to Christianity. There are so many people, books, and audio clips that help me walk in my faith. Someone has an answer for any question I have. It truly is an awesome experience to have someone to relate to.
Speaking of having someone to relate to, the Christian community is so big and nurturing. I know everyone has their flaws and sins they are trying to work on. People trying to improve themselves and do the right thing is so gratifying. Being able to understand that we are all on a journey to becoming better people is motivational and inspiring.
I guess you could call this a debate to win your heart to Christ. Just think about all these factors and see if you find these to be true for you too.
7 All the streams flow to the sea,
yet the sea is never full;
to the place where the streams flow,
there they flow again.
8 All things are wearisome,
more than anyone can say.
The eye is not satisfied by seeing
or the ear filled with hearing.
9 What has been is what will be,
and what has been done is what will be done;
there is nothing new under the sun.

As we grow in our walk with the lord, leadership can pop in our minds. Volunteering at church or being a mentor is the most common routes. But what does it mean to be a leader?
Everyone was given special talents and gifts. Maturing in faith can bring out those qualities. The first thing I would like to make clear is most people don’t become a “great leader” overnight. Experience and wisdom development are both important components of being a guide. Did you know that your testimony and your weaknesses could make you an excellent leader? Someone may have the same difficulty as you. How you deal with your flaws could make you a great role model to those who are hurting.
It is also important to say leadership can happen anywhere with anyone. If you feel you were called outside of the church, that’s ok. Writing about my life to you all is how I use my spiritual gifts. The church is a great place to grow, but there are people in the world that could use your direction as well. Being a Christian means we are at service where ever we are needed and strong enough to handle.
As you take the steps to become an example of Jesus believers – remember that as long as you work with love and grace – you will be a noble leader!
10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

With my birthday coming up, it’s safe to say I’m a young woman. I know how to balance catering to myself while giving to others. There are some things I wish someone told me while I was searching for myself.
Don’t ever feel like you have to give your body away to receive love. Take your early 20s to develop yourself. Build your career, have fun, and learn. You have the power to be seen the way God sees you – don’t limit yourself based on labels
A trick of the enemy is an attempt to make you feel bad. There’s nothing to be ashamed of. We are all human – and God gave us grace so that we may grow and become better than ever. Please remember that we are all works in progress. The most important thing in life is getting right back up after you fall.
Use your voice, take risks, and show this world that you are not afraid. When you are within God’s limits – anything is possible.
God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.

Hello, so glad you could join me today. If you’re in pain and need healing — here’s a prayer to inspire your spirit to gain back it’s strength.
Examine my spirit and fix anything that needs to be healed. Allow me to recover from any pain in my mind body and soul. I want to think thoughts that glorify your name. Replace spiritual warfare with peace and love. Let my body have no disease or illness. I pray to be in perfect health. I would like the resources to take care of my body including food and exercise. Please allow me to seek the kingdom of heaven. I want everything to be exceptional to you.
I love you and I want nothing more than to glorify your excellence.
In Jesus Name I pray,

When I used to hear the phrase “Christian Lifestyle” I used to think “here comes another boring stuck up person telling me what I cannot do.” Then the feeling of wanting to run the other direction when some random stranger is handing out bibles (especially when I was in college.)
As I matured in my walk, I learned a few things that I want to share with you all.
Here are a few tips about the lifestyle:
- Christians believe in Jesus as their personal savior.
- The objective of the lifestyle is to honor ourselves as a temple while having the love for others and our environment.
- Christians are supposed to demonstrate their faith everywhere they go. I used to go the Gym and not speak to anyone. Somehow people started picking up conversations with me. It didn’t matter what I initially wanted to do, I had to represent my religion.
- Obviously, you don’t throw a bible and holy water at someone screaming “repent or you’re going to hell!” Jesus says the most important part of a Christian lifestyle is love for others (Mark 12:30-31.) In another scripture, it explains what love is (1 Corinthians 13.) Having respect and compassion for others is what being a Christian is all about. How you treat yourself and others is a reflection of how much you allow God to move in your life. Another thing I want to point out is no you don’t have to be perfect. Your heart is the first thing you should focus on – it will change everything else (Proverbs 4:23)
- There are several reasons why walking with Jesus is such a great thing. If I had one sentence to say it would be: “he is the source that fulfills all needs.”
I try to write from my own experiences. I hope my examples will influence your personal walk in Christianity.

[Write and delete] “No that doesn’t sound good.” [Repeat.]
Ugh hello everyone,
If only you knew how hard it is to open with how I’ve really been feeling lately. I’m thinking about my future. My mind is filled with a million and one “I guess I’m an adult now” things.
Then this takes me back to when I ever start anything great in this city. My mom had to force me out of the nest and become a fully able woman. Bored and single I started this blog with a cute puppy I didn’t ask for. All these things were a blessing I didn’t see value in until I looked back over it all.
I’m scared thinking about the future – but I believe God will provide me everything that I need for every moment I have in life. With him all things are possible and I know I will more than okay.
6 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

In college, I was the annoying friend who always had something positive to say. When our senior project was overwhelming, I was the one uplifting my exhausted friends. It’s not like my life was perfect at that time. It was actually one of the stressful moments I endured in years.
I just ended a 3 years relationship and my parents were looking for me to become an adult. It was a time in my life when I was between the young girl phase trying to transition into a woman. Even though I didn’t know Jesus fully – I had a mustard seed of faith. My belief in God was the only thing that kept me going. My motto became “this is where I am in life and I’m not going to let anxiety ruin my last year of college.”
There is a big difference between happiness and joy. Happiness comes from the result of your current situation. “Hey things are going pretty good, I like my life. I guess I will be happy.” Joy says “this season may not be what I want but I’m going to enjoy what I have. I’m not going to have a pity party.”
It doesn’t mean you don’t want more out of life or you are just going to sit and let life beat you up. It simply means you have to make the most out of the cards you were dealt.
Maybe you don’t feel good or pretty right now. Maybe situations in life are not going the way you hope them to be. Hey sometimes life isn’t fair and it’s hard. Joy comes from accepting where you are in life and making it work. Joy can sometimes mean making lemonade out of lemons.
The result of having joy is giving God the power to order your steps. I have so much to be thankful for now because I gave my troubles to Jesus. My life isn’t perfect but I’m blessed beyond measure. When you stop to accept what you have and let God handle the rest, the only way to go is up.
10 Then he said to them, “Go and eat what is rich, drink what is sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared, since today is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, because the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
