Let’s all pretend that tinted rose glasses do not exist. We see the darkness instead of the light. Thinking of challenges makes us feel depressed and like we can’t do anything.
The voices in your head become louder and louder: “you’re not worthy.”
You may think these thoughts are your own, but this is a sign of spiritual warfare. Fear and doubt are not of God. Confidence comes when we are sure of ourselves in the lord. Battling between our insecurities verses who our father is Spiritual Warfare.
My senior year of college was the biggest war I ever dealt with. “What am I going to do once I get out of college? Am I going to pass the classes when that teacher hates me?” Even though on the outside I appeared put together, I was afraid of the next phase of my life.
When I graduated I moved to a big city living on an air mattress with family. I could have easily gone back to a comfortable life with my mom. Finally, I got a job that was a blessing, but it wasn’t perfect. Because I was “the pretty quiet new girl”, I was bullied every day for almost a year.
There are many times I could have given up, yet I fought for what I believed in. Giving into the devil was not an option for me. Because I stood my ground with assurance, I sit working remote on my lunch break writing to you all.
Don’t you dare give into what the enemy says to you. You are being attacked because people see greatness in you. You may not see it – but believe me, others see your potential. Stand up for your true self and be sure that you are a child of God!
