For the past few months, I’ve been doing a lot of things I didn’t feel like doing. “So why did you do it if you didn’t want to?”
There was a part of me that wanted to grow and become a better person. Discovering my full potential will always be important to me. Honestly, I was willing to sacrifice the present happiness for a rewarding future.
Every day at 5:00 I would go to the gym and push myself to new heights. There were days when I didn’t feel like showing up. I had to bribe myself to walk up and down hills on the treadmill. When it got too easy, I looked for a new challenge. Along the way, I’ve met some really wonderful people who promoted my growth. My confidence became high and genuine.
After a while, I realized my assignment was over. It was time to once again change and progress into something more.
God wants to give us new experiences and ways of life. No – it won’t be easy when you first start. Yes – you will feel like looking for an exit everytime something does not go your way. I promise you after every struggle, there is a blessing.
For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. Hebrews 10:36

You are the light in the darkness. You bring peace and comfort. Thank you for revealing yourself in all seasons.
Please continue to guide us through this life that seems hard. Provide strength from all obstacles in life. Let us rely on your love and not people’s opinions. Convict us that other’s problems against us are none of our business. Instead of anger, let us rejoice because we are saved by grace. Remove any negative thought in our mind that will not be elevated to greatness. We thank you for everything that is given, knowing you will exceed all expectation.
In Jesus Name,

Last night as I was watching tv, I started receiving wisdom. Once I finished jotting down my thoughts, I began reading my prayers from December 2017.
In amazement – tears began to roll down my face. God has been with me the entire time – he was answering my prayers. In times of fear and sadness – I was still being ordered by the will of God.
A little word of advice if you feel like your prayer is not being answered – you must stay obedient. If you know something is not right or you feel weak – don’t give up. Settling into problems and distrusting the future hinders the moves God is trying to make. We must stand on the word of the lord – even during the hard times.
Endurance and patience is something we were not born with. Crying and demanding attention is the natural instinct of ours. As we get older, we learn this is not acceptable and we must mature. Developing in the spirit is similar to this childlike behavior. Understand that timing is everything will keep our spirit in our father.
20 Brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your thinking, but be infants in regard to evil and adult in your thinking. 1 Corinthians 14:20
