A few weeks ago I was staring at my best friend. Finally, I found a female my age who understands me and encouraged my growth. It was scary to see how far we’ve come in our walk with Christ.
Sometimes it feels good to be heard and talk about things my future spouse wouldn’t care about. I’m pretty sure my husband will not care that I found this amazing hair product. Or how our past boy issues disciplined us to wait for the right one. Knowing you can just talk to someone without judgment is rewarding.
In this past phase of my life, I’m learning how to fellowship with women of Christ. Because I don’t have to worry about attraction, I can let my guard down and be myself. Girl time empowers us as women so we can achieve the life God wants us to have.
Not all female friendships have to be about drama or envy. A healthy relationship uplifts and develops your spirit.
